Itinerary:

Day 1 Air Port – Sigiriya : About 4.5 Hours Drive

Met on arrival and pick up at Colombo air port, leave for Sigiriya. En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Optional lunch at Dambulla visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. Dambulla rock temple was constructed by king Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 metres

Day 2 Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa : About 40 Minutes Drive

After breakfast leave for visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya Rock Fortress: This rock of the 5th century AD was a monastery before King Kasyapa built his kingdom. Better known, as the “Lion Rock” is a Citadel rising up to 560ft from the surrounding area. Optional lunch at Polonnaruwa visit Polonnaruwa Kingdom.

Day 3 Sigiriya – Anuradhapura : About 1.5 Hours Drive

After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. Visit Cultural sites in Anuradhapura & Mihintale.“Anuradhapura lay deserted for hundreds of years, the ruins buried deep in the jungles of the dry zone of Sri Lanka. The visitor might imagine that an explorer had stumbled on the lost city and brought it to light. But Anuradhapura, city of 113 kings was never forgotten to the people of Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura is the birthplace of Sinhala civilization & one of the world’s largest archeological sites. It is considered as the greatest monastic city of the ancient world, & was founded in the 5th century BC. The artwork and architecture of Anuradhapura are too numerous to mention; among them are ancient Buddha statues showing the influence of Greek art and also some of he world’s largest stupas.”

Day 4 Sigiriya - Kandy : About 2.5 Hours Drive

After breakfast leave for Kandy. En-route visit Ayurvedic Hearable Garden and optional lunch at Kandy. Visit Temple Of Tooth Relic and Gem Museum, watch Kandyan dancing show in the evening.

Day 5 Kandy – Nuwara Eliya : About 2.5 Hours Drive

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En-route visit Bhaktha Hanuman Temple , Ramboda Water Fall , Tea Plantation and Tea Factory. Optional lunch at Nuwara Eliya visit Victoria Park.

Day 6 Nuwara Eliya - Yala : About 3.5 Hours Drive

After breakfast leave for Ella by train. Train journey start from hill station and its take you around the tea state mountains with scenic beauty , while your travel will meet water falls and many more sceneries. After train journey you will pick up at the Ella railway station by your driver. Optional lunch at Ella visit Little Adam’s Peak and Ravana water fall and Leave for Yala. Evening possible to visit Katharagama Temple ( Murugan Temple )
Next Day morning visit Yala National Park by Jeep.

The most popular national park in Sri Lanka. Established in 1938 with a land area of approx 121000 ha. This park is situated in the Hambantota and Monaragala district. It is home for almost all the animals and birds that are found in Sri Lanka.

Day 7 Yala - Mirissa : About 2.5 Hours Drive

Earliy morning leave for Safari in Yala National Park and leave for Mirissa. En-route visit Blow Hole at Kudawella. Optional lunch at Mirissa relax and enjoy with beach activities in Mirissa.
Hummanaya is a natural blowhole, and caused when sea water rushes through a submerged cavern and is pushed upwards. The sea water flows underneath the shore, and then comes out of this hole due to pressure. The water fountain created by the geological feature shoots up every couple of minutes, depending on the nature of the sea, with the spray often reaching as high as 25 m (82 ft) to 30 m (98 ft).This site has now been developed as a tourist attraction, with a small visitors' information centre on marine life and a viewing platform.

Day 8 Yala - Mirissa : About 2.5 Hours Drive

Early morning leave for Whales watching in Mirissa. Optional lunch at Mirissa possible to enjoy with many sea activities or relax at your beach resort.
Whales Watching : The ever smiling, mischievous dolphins will put on a show while some of the oldest and the largest sea creatures, the humpback and the blue whales, will nonchalantly glide past you, when you embark on a whale/ dolphin watching excursion off the Southern, Eastern or the West coast of Sri Lanka. The ideal locations for whale watching would be Dondra Point (accessible from Galle, Hikkaduwa and Mirissa) and Trincomalee while the sea off Kalpitiya teems with an abundance of dolphins.

Day 9 & 10 Mirissa - Bentota : About 2.5 Hours Drive

After breakfast leave for Bentota. En-route visit Galle Fort. Optional lunch at Galle visit the Galle fort and popular tourist attractions. Optional lunch at Galle or similar.

From then on records are very sparse - until the landing of the famous Arab navigator Ibn Batuta. Over the next 100 years, the city was the chief port of the island, for it attracted spice traders.The Portuguese came to Galle in 1505, followed by the Dutch in 1640. When Colombo fell to the British in 1796, the fort was handed over & used as an administrative center, a function which it performs to this day”. Late after noon visit Turtle Farm and Leisure at t your beach stay. After long journey relax at your beach resort
Next Day : After breakfast visit Turtle Farm, Seenigama Temple, Mask Factory, Tsunami Museum , Moon Stone Factory and boat trip in Madu river or visit corals by boat in Hikkaduwa etc…Dinner and over night stay Bentota

Day 11 Bentota – Colombo : About 2.5 Hours Drive

Leave for departure flight on time via Colombo and Visit National Museum , Town Hall , Independent Square and after shopping at Colombo then have lunch in nice restaurant as your choice, proceed back to the hotel small rest at hotel evening drive to Bere Lake to enjoy with Swan boat riding and after you can enjoy famous Galle face beach area. Colombo is like many capital cities in developing countries as fast as changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world beauty is being sustained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the rich, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China. We leave from Colombo around 8.00 pm for departure flight ( 40 minutes drive from Colombo to Air Port )

As all good things must come to an end, your chauffeur guide with comfortable take you back to the international airport for a safe return journey.
Alternatively, you could always soak up some sun on Sri Lanka’s pristine beaches which are as close as an hour away from Colombo.
