| Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City arrive Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver on the other side of Immigration of Arrival check point and transferred to your hotel for check-in. You can visit transfer to a local Lacquer Ware Workshop where handicap labors making fabulous products and then free shopping at the China Town, a place to find any fake products of famous brands in the world and a chance to a tailor for your eager of Vietnam Traditional dress. Overnight in Saigon. Day 2 Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City Breakfast A one and half hour transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, where connecting command posts, hospitals, and shelter and weapon factories, used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops, with more than 200km in length. Dug out of hard laterite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered. Return to Saigon for lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the controversial War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace, enjoy free time for shopping bargains at Ben Thanh Tourists’ Market, the largest market in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be floating market Lunch/ Dinner You are picked up from your hotel and transfer to Cai Be. The program will start with a visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables by the luxury boat. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how to make rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn… It is so interesting to visit the handicraft village where you can see how they make some special products: making rice-net for spring-rolls, fish sauce & Soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage roof… mekong delta-homestay The best lunch will be served at local house after lunch time, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta.. Then, we visit nursery garden for you to contact the real famous farmers – Mr Tiger or his son who is very successful in Vietnam agriculture. Have some fruits and tea when enjoying the traditional music at Ut Trinh home. Check in Ut Trinh home stay (or other home-stay on An Binh Island). One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta… Try to cook some dishes with the owners. We enjoy diner and have cup of tea or rice wine when talking together. You can chat with local people about the culture, and history of this Island. They do not mind to answer some personal questions. Overnight in a private room of local house Day 4 Cai Be – Vinh Long mekong delta tour Breakfast/ Lunch Have a breakfast and walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning. Enjoy a boat trip to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Our boat will go along the floating village. We will learn how to farm catfish on Mekong River. We can visit Vinh Long market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables…Overnight in Vinh Long. Day 5 Vinh Long – Ho Chi Minh City Departure Breakfast Enjoy the last morning at Mekong Delta Tour and comeback Ho Chi Minh city. End of your service | ||||
