London

For a cosmopolitan city of 7.7 million people, London is quite parochial. Each neighbourhood, each street corner, is proud of its own identity. After an initial tour by boat or on an open-top bus to orientate yourself, the best way to see Central London is on foot. Although Greater London sprawls for 610 sq miles (1,580 sq km), the central area is surprisingly compact. Paris has two major international airports; Charles de Gaulle (also known as Roissy) is 26 kms northeast of Paris and Orly is 16 kms south of the city. It doesn really matter which one you fly into; both are easily accessible from Paris, though Roissy is the only one with a TGV (high-speed train) station. Shuttle buses operate regularly from both airports to the city.

The French railway network (operated by the state-run SNCF) is comprehensive and relatively cheap compared to most European countries. The network includes suburban, regional and national and international lines. The SNCF operates a high speed train (TGV) service linking most French regions between themselves and with Paris.

Switzerland

Switzerland is a country of incredible beauty: rugged mountain peaks enhanced by delicate, wispy clouds; velvety green meadows tucked high on mountain ledges; dramatic rivers rushing through narrow gorges; tiny blue lakes sparkling like jewels in their mountain pockets; postcard-worthy villages made up of toy-like chalets. The country is almost too perfect to be real. For centuries Switzerland has inspired poets and artists who have advertised her glories on paper and canvas and her reputation has attracted visitors from all over the world.

Day 1 Arrive Paris

Day 2 Paris

At a time when the press did not use photographs, he came up with the idea of creating a site where the public could see people in the news. To implement this original plan, he called on Alfred Grevin, who was a cartoonist, designer and famous sculptor. The Grevin opened its doors on June 5th, 1882. It was an immediate success. Day 3 Switzerland

Day 4 Switzerland

Day 4 Switzerland

You can cruise along at approx. 40 km/hour and with the brakes you determine how fast you want to go. Day 5 Switzerland
Today enjoy our excursion to the Jungfrau, the 'Top of Europe', a wonderful world of glaciers and eternal ice.Onto Jungfrau. Reach the highest altitude railway station in Europe by a charming, red cogwheel train, amid dramatic mountain scenery tempting in this icy cold scenario, than a hot Indian lunch!Walk on the great Aletsch Glacier, at 22kms - the longest ice stream in the Alps, visit the glistening Ice Palace, and the Sphinx Observation Terrace, at 3571the loftiest point of all, the Alpine view will take your breath away.Descend to visit the popular holiday resort of Interlaken, cradled cozily between the beautiful Lakes of Brienz and Thun, where even today you see horse-drawn carriages.Most visitors take home two things - memories of a beautiful country and a Swiss watch.Later after dinner check into your hotel.Overnight in Switzerland.Breakfast at Hotel, Lunch at Jungfrau and Dinner at an Indian Restaurant.

Day 6 Innsbruck
The Lucerne with its picturesque mountains,lakes,cowbells,alpine villages and meadows,the poignant Lion Monument, the covered, wooden Kapellbrucke (chapel bridge), and the ornate Jesuit Church.Next your drive today takes you to the Principality of Liechtenstein and a stop at Vaduz - the capital, famous for postage stamps.Later drive to Austria. Enroute halt at the internationally renowned Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, and prepare to be dazzled at the 'Chambers of Wonder'! In a wondrous blue hall dominated by a Unicum- a wall of crystal, you see the world's biggest crystal and it's smallest!Continue a scenic drive to Innsbruck. Located on the Inn River, Innsbruck is one of Europe's most beautiful and lively cities. Day 6 Tuscany
Your journey takes you on a drive past quaint villages.At a photo stop here, note its striking beauty along with its characteristic tilt. It is the Duomo's Cathedral, Bell Tower together with the Baptistery, these are all a part of the Field of Miracles.After an exciting tour, drive through a stretch of olive groves and vineyards to the Tuscany region where on arrival you will be checked into your hotel.Overnight in Tuscany.Breakfast at Hotel, Packed Lunch from an Indian Restaurant and Dinner at an Indian Restaurant.

Day 8 Tuscany - Rome - Tuscany
The truth of this oft quoted adage hits you with full force, as we pack in all the 'must see' agenda into our guided panoramic highlight city tour! Head to the Vatican City, the smallest nation in the world! Headed by his holiness the Pope, it is the administrative and spiritual capital of Roman Catholicism. It boasts a priceless art collection and is probably per square foot the richest country in the world! The most famous square of Vatican City is St. Peter's Square with St. Peter's Basilica, the spiritual centre of Christendom.Gaze in awe at Michelangelo's Pieta in St. Peter's Basilica, one of the largest churches in the world.
See the triumphal Arch of Constantine, one of the most important commemorative monuments of antiquity and then drive through Piazza Venezia, the main square in Rome, where the grandiose monument to the reunification of Italy is often referred to as the Marble wedding cake!Pass the ruins of the Roman Forum and end the tour at the famous Trevi Fountain. Day 9 Venice
A shrine to the wonders of the Renaissance, with more artistic treasures per square metre than any other city in the world!Included in your walking tour of Florence is a visit to the remarkable Duomo (when open for visitors), which is the fourth largest cathedral in the world. It dominates the city's skyline and still defines its scale - no building in town is taller! Besides it is the 'Gate to Paradise' - the heavenly gilded bronze doors of the Baptistery, originally a pagan temple and the open-air gallery in Signoria Square.Walk on the famous Ponte Vecchio, the oldest surviving bridge in the city.Next its on to the magical lagoon city of Venice.Nothing prepares you for the captivating city of canals and palaces.Cruise from Tronchetto Pier and glide romantically past fairytale palaces, through incredible miniature canals to the Piazza San Marco (St. Marks Square), where you disembark. Napoleon dubbed the Square the 'finest drawing room in Europe' for its constant carnival atmosphere!From there to the Doge's Palace, connected by the 'Bridge of Sighs' to its prisons.
